Solemn event-agencies awarding ceremony within the bounds of International Open Festival Eventarizaciya took place 17 May 2009 in Kiev. Developing its event activities area Arktur DMC and Tour Operator visited the party as a VIP guest. 34 event-agencies participated in the show presenting 118 various projects. The panel of juries included top-managers of the world companies, mostly clients of Arktur Travel Agency, such as Pepsi-Cola, Philip Morris, Samsung Electronics, also UkrSibbank, Insurance company “Brokbusiness”, ING Bank Ukraine, Reiffeisen Bank Aval and others.

Various nominations were represented in the show: “Best teambuilding”, “Best Incentive Project”, “Best Open Air”, “Agency of the year” and many others. We are glad to notice that Ukrainian event-market is presented by worthy and successfully developing event-companies.
The guests of the ceremony were entertained by popular artists: Aliona Vinnitskaya, “Army”, “Aviator”, Boris April, “Hollywood”, “Real O”. Igor Posypayko and Natalia Mogilevskaya were the masters of the festival. The festival was accompanied by the unforgettable project light show.  

On the 26th-28th of May ARKTUR DMC visited Frankfurt for one of the most remarkable business travel shows in Europe - IMEX 2009. Over 3,700 hosted buyers combined with more than 5,100 unique visitors attended the Messe Frankfurt show making a total of nearly 9,000 over the three days. Records were also broken by the number of countries represented - 157 - by the 3500 companies who exhibited at IMEX this year.

Feedback from exhibitors reinforced this confident mood. Ukraine was well represented by ARKTUR DMC as a brand new destination for business travellers and incentive programmes: amazing nature and diversity of national flavour, carefully checked effective logistic routes, many newly open hotels with spacious and comfortable conference rooms and European level of service, creative and "fresh" teambuilding and incentive programmes. We expect the year 2009 to be a challenge for this part of business with Ukrainian performance as a fresh destination for many corporate clients.
